TSC U13 Topguns Notch State Cup Victory

Philadelphia, PA -
Towamencin Soccer Club's U13 Boys team, The Topguns, notched a hard fought 1-0 victory over Philadelphia Soccer Club Coppa in the 2010 PA State Cup round of 16. Head coach, Roben Qawasmy reports that the Topguns scored early, on a goal by # 9 Matt Ammendola on 40 Yard Set play and continued to play their game until midway through the 2nd half when they moved into protect mode and loaded the defense in their 1st state cup game against the #1 ranked team on PSC's home field.
Both teams received 1st round byes.
The Topguns will move to the quarterfinals on 4/17 to face Hampden-Middlesex-Monroe-Silver Spring, who defeated Council Rock United 2-1 in the 1st round and Yardley-Makefield Soccer 2-1 in the round of 16. The game will be played at Christopher Dock High School at 5:30pm.
