Coaches, Parents, and Players of TYA Baseball:

We are pleased to announce that TYA Baseball is holding its 2nd annual Opening Day Ceremony @ Bustard Park on Saturday April 17^th, 2010.   As part of the celebration, TYA will be announcing all 43   At the conclusion of the ceremony, a first pitch will be thrown to officially open the 2010 Intramural Baseball Season.   We encourage you to come and be a part of a great day and support Towamencin Youth Baseball. boys’ team names from T-ball to the Senior Majors, will offer an exciting flag ceremony, and will present the playing of the national anthem by our very own TYA Player Band.

What you need to know:

• ALL players should arrive, in uniform, by 8:15 and meet at field # 8.   Each team will be lined up and marched to Bustard field # 4 for the ceremony.

• TYA has a DJ for entertainment and the announcement of all the teams.   Parents and other relatives will be able to sit or stand at Bustard field # 4 for the ceremony.

• The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30am and conclude by 9:30am.

• Parking will be available at the following locations:
• Nash Elementary
• Under the power lines at Bustard Park
• Bustard Park parking lot

• Picture Day will continue throughout the day, however during the ceremony the pictures taken by SNAP will be on hold until after the ceremony concludes. A revised schedule will be published soon and distributed to coaches.

• The 12U TYA Travel team will be selling food, drinks, 50/50 raffles and Beef-n-Beer tickets to help raise money for the annual Cooperstown Tournament trip.   Please help support our boys!
