Welcome to Towamencin Youth Association's website!

Towamencin Youth Association (TYA) provides over 1,000 kids the opportunity to play youth sports year round. Fielding over 300 teams in four sports, TYA believes in allowing boys and girls to enjoy youth sports at an instructional or intramural level as well as travel and select teams. Regardless of the level of ability of a child, TYA's mission is to provide a fun and rewarding experience for all kids.

Our organization is made up of volunteers and provides the youth of our community with various sports throughout the year. Please click on the sport name to obtain more information on that sport. Towamencin Baseball partners with other local organizations to offer a competitive inter-community Fall baseball program. The structure of the Fall Program is separated into A, AA, and AAA divisions. There is also baseball available for older players through our Connie Mack program.

Unlike our Spring program, registration is limited as there are a lesser number of teams. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis and we limit the number of players on each team to 13. Typically we field three teams in each of the A, AA and AAA Divisions. We accept a total of 39 registrations for each of those divisions. If enough players register to field four teams at a certain level, we will add a 4th team to that division as long as we are able to provide adequate coaching for each team.

Within each division a draft is used so that talent is divided as evenly as possible among the teams to ensure that each team is equipped to compete.

The season begins the weekend after Labor Day. There are 1 or 2 games played per weekend and they are played on either Friday nights (under lights), or on Saturday and Sunday. Games are held at Towamencin facilities as well as the fields of the other participating programs. Each of the divisions usually holds a small season ending tournament which concludes the last weekend in October with trophies awarded.

A-Division - A competitive league, this division is intended for boys, ages 7-8 yrs old (as of April 30th) that plan on entering the Minors Division in the following Spring. A-Division games are played on a standard 46/60 field, (46 mound / 60 base-path), and feature kid pitch.  Registration fee $70.

AA-Division - A fully competitive league, this division is intended for boys ages 8-9 yrs old (as of April 30th) that have played in the Minors or Majors Divisions (Spring Season). It is geared for players who intend to play in the Minors or Majors Division the following Spring. AA-Division games are played on a standard 46/60 field and feature more advanced base running. Registration fee $70.

AAA-Division- A fully competitive league, this league is intended for boys ages 10-11 yrs old (as of April 30th) that have played at least one season in the Majors Division, (Spring Season). It is geared for players who intend to be evaluated for the Senior Majors Division the following Spring. AAA-Division games are played on a larger 50/70 field. Leads off of bases and pitcher pick-offs are introduced at this level. Registration fee $70.

Fall Connie Mack - Fall Baseball is also offered for older boys, (ages 12-15) through our Connie Mack program. Baseball is played on a major-league sized field, (60 mound / 90 base-paths). Information on that program is available under the Connie Mack section of the website. Registration fee $75.
